ABOUT
“With Sneh” is about bringing awareness to our emotional wellbeing, which in turn impacts and underlies our physical and mental health.
“With Sneh” provokes and encourages us to look inwards, to take stock of how we react to, cope with and heal from all that life throws at us, big or small.
“With Sneh” is about leading us to feeling whole and healthy, showing up for ourselves and for those around us, with love and compassion.
BACKGROUND
“Sneh” means love in Hindi. It was also my mother’s name.
“With Sneh” is about my mother. She was the epitome of unconditional love, undeterred strength and unmatched patience. I saw her stand her ground through some very tough times, even when she was in pain, till the very end, still never letting go of her magnanimous attitude, her feisty spirit and her love for her daughters. She always reminded me to keep smiling through all of life’s ups and downs, especially the downs.
“With Sneh” is also about my father. He taught me life skills. He taught me compassion – for myself, for family and friends, for those who didn’t get me, and for those who were less fortunate than me. He was my role model, my inspiration, my best friend. He taught me to trust my judgement, to take risks, to work hard and to N.E.V.E.R give up.
“With Sneh” is also about my big sister and many strong souls like her. A beautiful person, an intelligent mind, a strong woman, someone who faces her reality every single day and still moves forward. She looks out for me like a mother-figure. I am so proud of her. I am blessed to have her.
“With Sneh” is not just about my mother and father and sister. It is about humanity. It is about driving awareness to the issues that have a direct impact on our emotional health and well-being and our ability to navigate life. It’s about showing up for ourselves and those around us, with love and compassion.
Because the world needs more healthy and loving individuals.
